The Screening Advisor is a highly visible, strategic role responsible for ensuring customers successfully use and gain value from RealPage Screening products and services. You’ll act as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of top multifamily owners and operators, helping them optimize screening performance, align to business goals, and drive measurable outcomes.
This role blends relationship management, internal/external consulting, and operational expertise. You’ll partner closely with both customer stakeholders (from onsite teams to executive leadership) and internal teams across Product, Support, Sales, and Customer Success.
The Screening Advisor is responsible for understanding RealPage Screening operations and maintaining a high-level knowledge of Screening products and interdependencies with other RealPage solutions. The ability to anticipate and communicate customer needs and identify customer barriers while prioritizing organizational goals and initiatives is an integral part of this position.

Maintain updated knowledge of Screening products, services and industry regulatory/compliance trends
Participate and execute upon Strategic initiatives as assigned by Screening GM.
Serve as the primary Screening contact for assigned customer accounts
Build strong, trusted relationships with stakeholders at all levels (onsite → C-suite)
Understand client goals, screening operations, and success metrics to drive Screening value
Advise customers on best practices and optimal configuration of Screening products
Participate alongside Customer Success/SAM in recurring business reviews (weekly/monthly/quarterly) focused on performance and adoption
Conduct presentations and in-person meetings with customers as needed
Monitor and report on screening performance, adoption trends, and financial outcomes
Identify areas within RealPage where process improvements will streamline functional areas and improve the customer experience
Partner cross-functionally with Product, Development, QA, Marketing, and Implementation teams to ensure the successful launch and acceptable performance of solutions
Advocate for customers by prioritizing enhancement requests and providing product feedback
Anticipate risks, remove barriers, and proactively communicate solutions
8+ years of experience in the property management industry (customer side preferred)
5+ years of experience with resident screening policies and procedures
Strong understanding of multifamily operations at both corporate and property level
Knowledge of RealPage Screening products (highly preferred)
Proven ability to build relationships and influence at all levels, including Director, VP, and C-suite
Strong business acumen and understanding of industry trends, compliance, and technology
Excellent communication skills—written, verbal, and presentation
Highly organized with strong follow-up and documentation skills
Self-starter mindset with the ability to manage high activity with minimal direction
Ability to navigate complex customer scenarios and problem-solve creatively
Professional, personable, and persuasive communication style
Additional Details
Bachelor’s degree required
Travel as needed (typically <20%)
Ability to participate in presentations, training sessions, and customer meetings
