Overview

SUMMARY

 

The Solution Consultant I – Affordable Online Leasing & Affordable Digital Enablement is an integral member of the strategic implementation organization, responsible for the successful deployment of Affordable Online Leasing (AOLL) and related affordable online solutions, including Online Recertifications,  as well as Custom Packets that support and enable the AOLL workflow.

This role partners closely with Affordable Housing customers and internal stakeholders to design and implement scalable, compliant, and efficient digital workflows that replace or modernize traditional paper-based processes. The Solution Consultant serves as a trusted advisor throughout the full implementation lifecycle, aligning RealPage affordable products to customer operational requirements while ensuring regulatory considerations and program compliance are supported.

Operating in a highly client-facing capacity, this role requires strong knowledge of affordable housing operations and the ability to guide customers through operational change, digital adoption, and workflow transformation.

Responsibilities

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

 

Affordable Solution Implementation

  • Lead end-to-end implementations of Affordable Online Leasing (AOLL) and associated affordable digital products (e.g., Online Recertifications)
  • Consult and advise on Custom Packets to support affordable leasing, certification, and recertification workflows
  • Translate affordable housing program requirements into system configuration and digital workflows

Discovery & Solution Design

  • Assess customers’ current affordable operations, including paper-based workflows and manual processes
  • Define future-state digital workflows that improve efficiency, compliance, and tenant experience
  • Connect customer business requirements to the functional capabilities of Affordable Online Leasing and related RealPage solutions

Change Management & Adoption

  • Develop change management strategies to support the transition from paper-driven processes to online/digital solutions
  • Guide customers through adoption best practices for affordable digital leasing and certification workflows
  • Track progress against defined requirements and adoption milestones

Customer Partnership

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to affordable housing customers throughout implementation and post–go-live
  • Lead implementation discussions with Affordable Housing Directors, Regional Managers, and Operations leaders
  • Partner with Engagement Management and Delivery teams to contribute to project planning and execution

Go-Live & Enablement

    • Plan and support go-live activities, including training related to AOLL, Online Recertifications, and Custom Packets
    • Ensure customers are operationally ready to execute affordable workflows digitally at activation

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS

 

Required:

  • 3+ years of Affordable Housing industry experience (e.g., leasing, compliance, certifications, recertifications, property operations)
  • Experience in consulting, implementation, or customer-facing delivery roles within affordable housing
  • Ability to engage and lead conversations with Directors and Regional-level stakeholders
  • Working knowledge of RealPage products or similar property management and leasing platforms

Preferred:

  • Experience supporting or implementing Affordable Online Leasing or affordable housing workflows
  • Experience working with or transitioning operations from paper-based processes to digital/online solutions
  • Demonstrated success driving operational change and digital adoption in regulated environments

 

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES

 

Required:

  • Strong understanding of affordable housing operational workflows and compliance-driven processes
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain digital solutions to non-technical stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple implementations simultaneously while meeting deadlines
  • Comfort working independently while collaborating cross-functionally

 

Physical Demands and Working Conditions

The employee must be able to operate a personal computer and express or exchange ideas through the spoken word. May be required to sit and/or stand for extended periods of time. Compensation may vary depending on your location, qualifications including job-related education, training, experience, licensure, and certification, that could result at a level outside of these ranges. Certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including annual bonus, and sales incentives depending on the terms of the applicable plan and role as well as individual performance.

Pay Range

USD $70,700.00 - USD $120,300.00 /Yr.
