Overview

SUMMARY

 

The Solution Consultant II (SC) is an integral member of the strategic implementation organization, responsible for the successful deployment of RealPage’s OpsTechnology (OpsTech) solution, a spend management platform designed to optimize operational purchasing, vendor management, and cost controls.

 

This role serves as the primary consultant for OpsTech implementations, partnering directly with customers and internal stakeholders to translate operational and financial requirements into scalable, effective system configurations. The Solution Consultant leads full life‑cycle implementations—from discovery and solution design through go‑live and early adoption—ensuring customers realize measurable value from their investment in OpsTech.

 

Operating in a highly client-facing role, the Solution Consultant must communicate effectively across operations, finance, and leadership teams, aligning business processes, change management, and system capabilities to drive adoption and long-term success.

Responsibilities

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

 

OpsTechnology Implementation & Consulting

  • Lead end-to-end implementations of OpsTechnology, RealPage’s spend management solution.
  • Conduct discovery sessions to understand customers’ current-state operational spend, procurement workflows, vendor management processes, and approval structures.
  • Define future-state workflows leveraging OpsTech capabilities, including purchasing controls, budget tracking, vendor visibility, and operational reporting.
  • Configure OpsTech to align with customer business rules, operational policies, and organizational structures.

Solution Design & Delivery

  • Translate customer business requirements into functional system designs and implementation plans.
  • Connect operational and financial requirements to OpsTech product capabilities and best practices.
  • Partner with internal delivery, product, and engagement management teams to execute implementations successfully.
  • Identify risks, dependencies, and change impacts throughout the implementation lifecycle.

Change Management & Adoption

  • Develop and execute change management strategies to support adoption of new spend management processes.
  • Track achievement of defined success metrics, including adoption, usage, and operational outcomes.
  • Plan and support go-live activities, including customer readiness, training, and post-go-live stabilization.

Customer Partnership

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to customers, building long-term relationships focused on operational efficiency and spend optimization.
  • Lead executive and operational stakeholder conversations, tailoring messaging for different audiences.
  • Provide strategic guidance on expanding or optimizing OpsTech usage over time.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS

 

Required:

  • Minimum 5 years of multifamily or property management operations experience, with exposure to operational spend, procurement or vendor management
  • Experience implementing or supporting enterprise software solutions in a consulting or customer-facing role.
  • Strong understanding of operational workflows and how technology enables spend control and efficiency.
  • Ability to engage and lead conversations with Directors and regional-level stakeholders.
  • Intermediate proficiency in consulting processes and structured implementations.
  • Limited travel availability.

Preferred:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience

  • Ability to work independently, multi-task, achieve tight deadlines and take ownership on multiple projects.

Compensation may vary depending on your location, qualifications including job-related education, training, experience, licensure, and certification, that could result at a level outside of these ranges. Certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including annual bonus, and sales incentives depending on the terms of the applicable plan and role as well as individual performance.

Pay Range

USD $85,200.00 - USD $145,200.00 /Yr.
