Overview

The Property Account Manager is an integral position within the Utility Management organization working closely with Implementations, Sales and Operations. The SimpleBills Account Manager is responsible for client relationship building, understanding client goals and objectives, corporate communication of account status, assisting with client escalations, and ensuring client revenue, retention and growth. The Account Manager I will anticipate and communicate customer needs and identify barriers while prioritizing organizational goals and initiatives

Responsibilities

  • Client Relationship Management: 55% o Act as a primary point of contact for assigned accounts
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships that allow for open communication and trust
  • Assist with periodic client business reviews for assigned clients as appropriate
  • Analyze key metrics of customer usage and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Maintain assigned portfolio to drive client adoption and usage to achieve targeted annual revenue goal
  • Assist in identifying revenue opportunities within the framework of the organization wide strategy
  • Grow business by anticipating customer needs and providing a high level of customer services
  • Portfolio Utility Billing Management: 35% o Report account status reviews to management weekly
  • Work closely with multiple departments to coordinate client needs and resolve outstanding issues
  • Work with internal departments and clients to meet monthly billing and prebill goals
  • Additional duties as needed.- 10%

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business, related filed or equivalent experience in industry
  • Minimum of 1 year Account Management experience overseeing a high-volume portfolio
  • Property Management experience preferred 
  • Demonstrated ability to retain and grow accounts
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with internal and external management and work collaboratively with interdepartmental teams to achieve desired results
  • Experience in project management, including the ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Experience using MS Office applications (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel).
  • Effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and take initiative
  • Ability to communicate clients’ needs while prioritizing with organizational goals and initiatives
  • Ability to motivate others to achieve project deliverables
  • Excellent follow up skills

Compensation may vary depending on your location, qualifications including job-related education, training, experience, licensure, and certification, that could result at a level outside of these ranges. Certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including annual bonus, and sales incentives depending on the terms of the applicable plan and role as well as individual performance.

Pay Range

USD $50,500.00 - USD $85,900.00 /Yr.
