Overview

The Director of Property Management Consulting is a proven leader, responsible for overseeing a team of seasoned consultants providing Subject Matter Expert (SME) level insight and advice to customers.  This leader has the knowledge and expertise to mentor a team of consultants, driving excellence in their workensuring their customers successfully implement RealPage solutions.  The Director drives a results-oriented culture and represents the Consulting division at a broader level within RealPage, partners with other leaders in and outside of Delivery and ensures the successful implementation of Property Management products. 

 

The Director is accountable for understanding the consulting and data requirements based on the product solution being implemented, creating and managing processes, measuring performance, reporting key metrics, improving productivity and ensuring that complete and accurate data is received by the customer on time for their scheduled implementation.  

Responsibilities

  • Develop long-term strategies for growth and maintenance of department resources to meet the volume and demands of client implementations 
  • Determine methods to navigate unique or complex business scenarios to ensure consultants can speak to asset strategy and configure RealPage products accordingly, balancing client goals and best practices
  • Develop relationships with customers to ensure that deliverables/objectives are aligned with their expectations
  • Hire, coach, and mentor a team of consultants with extensive, subject-matter expertise and knowledge of multi-family operations, revenue management, data, and analytics
  • Prioritize and delegate work assignments while achieving all customer communicated deadlines
  • Initiate and drive solutions to improve the customer experience by anticipating internal and external needs and removing obstacles
  • Foster the team to listen to, acknowledge, and accurately capture client expectations and concerns, making sure these are incorporated and addressed during the implementation process
  • Manage the quality work produced by the team; drive and oversee goals and initiatives that meet or exceed performance expectations
  • Develop and maintain supportive working relationships with other internal management and team leaders; provide feedback or direction to the larger leadership team as applicable
  • Facilitate problem escalation, resolution and communication at all levels, keeping Senior Management and other business owners informed as issues develop that may impact a client’s implementation
  • Create visually and verbally engaging reports and presentations demonstrating KPIs and productivity metrics, including preparing for and representing department in weekly business reviews (WBRs) 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience 
  • 10+ years of professional experience consisting of:
    • 4+ years of proven ability to lead high performance teams
    • 5+ years of experience in a customer facing role
  • Ability to travel up to 20% and work outside normal business hours at times depending upon workload 

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES 

 

Required: 

  • Strong project management skills required; ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously 
  • Demonstrated ability to understand and advise on the impact of all facets of operations that can impact revenue performance
  • Expert level knowledge of one or more RealPage Property Management solutions 
  • Knowledge of Realpage products including but not limited to: OneSite, Screening, Payments, IDVP-P. 
  • Works autonomously with guidance on only the most complex items
  • Displays superior business acumen and understanding of organizational agility
  • Experience using Salesforce and Microsoft office products (Excel, Power Point and Word)
  • Excellent communication skills, written, verbal, and technical up through internal and external senior executives 
  • Demonstrated ability to proactively assess and address risk
  • Analytical background and ability to learn new systems quickly
  • Experience delivering professional presentations and collaborating with senior executives 

 

Physical Demands and Working Conditions 

 

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; talk or hear. The employee must have the ability to operate a personal computer and express or exchange ideas by means of the spoken word. May be required to sit and/or stand for long periods of time. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. May be required to lift or move 10+ pounds.

Compensation may vary depending on your location, qualifications including job-related education, training, experience, licensure, and certification, that could result at a level outside of these ranges. Certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including annual bonus, and sales incentives depending on the terms of the applicable plan and role as well as individual performance.

Pay Range

USD $121,000.00 - USD $206,000.00 /Yr.
