What you’ll do:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of a business development team focused on sourcing new revenue opportunities from inbound, upsell, and value-added services channels.
- Be a true servant-leader, with a commitment to recruiting top talent, coaching that talent to be as successful as possible, and ultimately helping team members reach their career goals.
- Conduct weekly one-on-ones with business development representatives to provide coaching and sales process development.
- Actively manage team key performance metrics and drive activity volume, pipeline generation, and meeting conversion rates as a way to meet company objectives and profitability/revenue goals.
- Evaluate tools and processes to ensure that business development representatives are efficient in completing their responsibilities.
- Work as part of the overall Business Development and Revenue Operations team to build, enrich, and leverage our database to drive increased team output.
- Join and review prospect calls to provide assistance and feedback/coaching.
- Work cross-functionally with teams such as marketing and product to train the business development representatives as a way to increase output and foster career development.
- Ensure close alignment with the other Sales Managers, Sales Consultants, and Customer Success Managers so that opportunity hand-off is efficiently executed.

What you’ll need:
- 2+ years of sales experience (SaaS experience preferred).
- Strong leadership and coaching skills -- inspire employees and partners, resolve conflicts, and influence beneficial outcomes.
- A proven track record of exceeding monthly, quarterly, and annual goals as an individual contributor, both in inbound and cold calling capacities.
- Superb people/collaboration skills -- able to prioritize and work cross-functionally, build trust and influence all levels of organization.
- Self-motivated and highly driven with excellent communication skills.
- Data-driven decision maker who focuses on process improvements and inspiring individuals to reach their full potential.
- Always committed to making the right decision on behalf of customers and colleagues.
- Energetic and passionate, with the ability to drive urgency
- Proficient with Salesforce and experience with other Sales tools.
