The Solution Representative IV is a senior, quota-carrying sales professional responsible for driving net-new revenue and expansion within multifamily portfolios. This role requires strong revenue acumen, executive presence, and product fluency, with the ability to clearly articulate how owners and operators generate revenue, improve operational efficiency, and maximize portfolio performance.
This position supports a hybrid sales motion, balancing outbound prospecting and pipeline creation (50%) with Account Representative support and expansion opportunities (50%). The ideal candidate is a numbers-driven, consultative seller with demonstrated career progression and a track record of exceeding quota.
Own the full sales cycle, including prospecting, qualification, discovery, closing, and expansion
Generate net-new and add-on revenue within an assigned geographic territory or named accounts
Consistently meet or exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets
Build, manage, and maintain a high-quality sales pipeline using data-driven forecasting and prioritization
Clearly articulate ROI and value-based outcomes to multifamily owners and operators
Execute consistent outbound activity, including cold calling, email, and social selling
Research and identify new opportunities weekly, with a strong focus on revenue-generating accounts
Demonstrate ownership of personal pipeline development rather than reliance on inbound leads
Sell consultatively to CEOs, COOs, and VPs of Operations, navigating complex buying committees
Conduct in-person and virtual meetings with multifamily owners, operators, and executive stakeholders
Deliver polished, executive-level presentations in partnership with Sales Engineers
Attend industry events, trade shows, and client meetings as a brand ambassador for RealPage
Partner closely with Account Representatives to support expansion and retention opportunities
Follow up on implementations tied to new product and service sales
Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales Engineering, Product, and Operations teams to ensure successful deal execution
Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field OR 5+ years of relevant sales experience
5+ years of formal field or inside sales experience with a proven record of exceeding quota
Demonstrated success selling software or technology-enabled solutions
Strong understanding of revenue models, operational efficiency, and value-based selling
Ability to manage and prioritize a geographic territory effectively
Proven ability to present to large groups and executive audiences
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Technically proficient with Microsoft Office; CRM experience required (Salesforce preferred)
Willingness to travel up to 40%, including occasional evenings and weekends
Experience selling into multifamily, real estate, or adjacent financial services industries
Presidents Club, top-performer recognition, or documented YOY growth
Prior experience in highly metrics-driven sales environments
Real estate certifications (IREM, NAA) a plus
Demonstrated career progression and increased responsibility over time
Background in recruiting or adjacent consultative sales roles is considered a plus
Strong executive presence and business acumen
Numbers-driven with the ability to clearly communicate impact and results
Self-starter with a strong prospecting mindset
Highly organized, adaptable, and coachable
Relationship-driven with a willingness to put in the work
