What You’ll Do

As a Senior Accountant, you will play a key role in the financial close process for RealPage’s Insurance Business. You’ll be responsible for recording transactions, preparing reconciliations, and performing variance analysis to ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP. This role requires strong analytical skills and technical accounting knowledge. You’ll collaborate across departments and contribute to process improvements in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

• Manage the month-end general ledger close cycle for assigned operations and functional areas
• Prepare and review account reconciliations and ensure timely resolution of reconciling items
• Maintain documentation and checklists to support accurate and complete financial reporting
• Analyze account balances and variances to ensure proper accounting treatment
• Communicate financial results and insights to stakeholders across the organization
• Support implementation of best practices in accounting processes

• Must be local to DFW area
• Minimum 5 years of experience in industry or public accounting
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
• Strong understanding of GAAP
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills: Power Pivot experience is a plus
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Experience in insurance accounting is a plus
• CPA or public accounting background preferred
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed
