The Solutions Architect will have responsibility for the development, testing, and deployment of Business Intelligence reports and dashboards in support of the RealPage Data and Analytics product suite. Responsibilities include active engagement and coordination with the U.S. and India Cognos BI development team as well as support of any Cognos technical questions or issues as they arise. The successful candidate will work closely with other BI Developers and Quality Analysts to ensure the business requirements for reporting are met or exceeded. 

• Demonstrated technical knowledge of Cognos Report Studio and Cognos Business Insight (11.x and above preferred) 
• Development and testing of Business Intelligence reports using the Cognos BI suite 
• Ensure the Business Intelligence Reports that are deployed meet or exceed the documented business requirements 
• Regular communications with management to communicate status on reports and testing 
• Assist in technical documentation of all reports created for the RealPage Data and Analytics product suite 
• Ensure that BI standards, templates, and processes are being followed in the development and testing of reports 
• Interface directly with clients to gather requirements or other details to ensure successful release and acceptance of custom reports
• Provide support to all – custom and non-custom – reports and other Cognos objects during US business hours 

• College degree preferred; equivalent experience may be accepted 
• Ability to perform in a team environment 
• Good communication skills 
• 7 - 10 years strong technology implementation experience with at least three years in multiple full lifecycle BI/DW implementations 
• 2 years demonstrated experience in complex application development projects involving Cognos (Report Studio, Business Insight Advanced, Business Insight, multi-dimensional Power Cubes) and Microsoft SQL RDBMS on Windows. 
• Moderate knowledge of SQL is expected. 
• Analytics application experience such as Sales, Marketing, Financial, CRM or Other is a plus 
• At least 5 years of experience in the multi-family real estate industry is a plus 
• Experience in other reporting tools/platforms such as SSRS (2016+), PowerBI, MS Fabric, etc.
