The Director of Program Management will serve as a strategic leader within RealPage’s Engineering Operations organization. This is a pivotal role responsible for leading cross-functional strategic programs from inception through execution, ensuring alignment with company goals and customer needs. The ideal candidate will possess strong strategic and business acumen, leadership and people management skills, program and project management expertise, communication and influence abilities, as well as technical and analytical capabilities. This is a high-impact role within a fast-paced global software company.

• Strategic Program Leadership: Lead cross-functional strategic programs from inception through execution, ensuring alignment with company goals and customer needs. Define program vision, success metrics, and roadmaps in collaboration with executive leadership and product teams.
  
  
• Portfolio and Program Management: Oversee a portfolio of complex, high-impact strategic initiatives, ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and quality outcomes. Implement and refine program management frameworks, tools, and best practices to drive operational excellence.

• Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as the primary liaison between executive leadership, product, engineering, customer success, and other departments. Communicate program status, risks, and opportunities clearly and effectively to stakeholders at all levels.

• Team Leadership and Development: Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing team of program and project managers. Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and innovation.

• Risk and Change Management: Identify and mitigate risks across programs; proactively manage changes in scope, schedule, and resources. Ensure compliance with internal controls, security standards, and regulatory requirements.

• Customer-Centric Execution: Champion the voice of the customer in program planning and execution. Ensure that program outcomes drive measurable improvements in customer satisfaction and business performance.

• Data-Driven Decision Making: Leverage analytics and KPIs to monitor program performance and inform strategic decisions. Present insights and recommendations to senior leadership to support business growth and scalability.
• Process Optimization: Drive continuous improvement initiatives to streamline program delivery and enhance cross-functional collaboration. Standardize processes and documentation to ensure repeatability and scalability.

• Bachelor’s Degree, MBA preferred
• 10+ years of Program Management experience
• Expertise in PMI, PMBOK, Agile, Scrum, SAFe, and Lean methodologies
• Knowledge of business strategy, financial planning, and operational execution
• Familiarity with risk management practices, regulatory compliance, and governance
• Experience leading large-scale transformations and managing multi-team programs
• Leadership of cross-functional teams and mentoring senior project managers
• Data-driven decision making, performance measurement, and outcome optimization
• Effective management of competing priorities and stakeholder conflicts
• Handling multiple complex programs under tight deadlines
• Anticipating trends and aligning programs to emerging needs
• Achieving results across departments without direct control
• Clear communication with executives, stakeholders, and teams
• Advanced MS Office skills (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel)
• Experience with SaaS products
• Experience in software development or product management experience a plus
• Communicating vision and trade-offs to executive leadership
• Combining strategic thinking with attention to detail
• Innovative problem-solving with excellent analytical skills
• Ability to travel, especially if not based in DFW area
