The primary goal of this position is to set up and activate services for properties with submeter Billing Methods. The Implementations Consultant will validate all set up criteria, manage the timeline and perform technical set up to drive revenue. The Submeter Implementations Consultant will utilize submeter knowledge and experience to ensure accurate and on-time set-up. This includes setting up submeter systems, coordinating with maintenance/installation teams, troubleshooting down systems and collaborating with Resident Billing Implementations, clients, and third-party providers.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage implementation schedule of sites to ensure on-time and accurate set up.
• Gather and review due diligence (submeter information) and validate information is complete and/or obtain missing data to achieve target delivery dates.
• Complete technical set up in the respective billing engine with the correct system and meter info, count factor and number of units/residents per property due diligence.
• Adjust bill periods and/or read data as needed based on billing cycles.
• Escalate set-up issues to Implementations Manager as necessary when properties are “at risk” of not meeting the setup deadline.
• Provide status updates to Implementations Manager regarding portfolio completion.
• Attend implementation meetings as needed to remove roadblocks and confirm status of property set up.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners to accurately set up submeter systems, meter mapping and data connectivity.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent submeter experience required.
• Experience in utility billing or onsite, hands-on installation and commissioning of submeter hardware preferred.
• Knowledge of multiple submeter systems, submeter types and configuration for Water, Gas, Electric submeter systems.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and written/verbal communication skills required.
• Strong organizational skills, and a high level of attention to detail required.
• Ability to work well under pressure and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong working knowledge of MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint), with knowledge of Excel formula functions preferred
• Must be self-motivated, and able to work both independently and in a group
• Must be deadline driven, and goal oriented
• Ability to put in extra hours as needed to ensure team deadlines are met.
